CODE BLUE FAQ
For the Tuskegee-Initiated Blue & White Family
What is CODE BLUE?
CODE BLUE is a coordinated, community-led response to support members of the Tuskegee-initiated Blue & White family who are facing urgent or life-impacting crises.
Our Spring ’91 collective stepped in immediately to stabilize a current situation. As the need has grown, it became clear that a broader and more sustainable support system is necessary.
What is the purpose of this webpage?
The CODE BLUE webpage serves as a centralized information and support hub. It:
• Shares verified, consistent information about the current situation
• Provides a clear way for others to contribute
• Maintains discretion and protects the individual’s privacy
• Ensures messaging remains unified when shared with others
Is this only for one situation?
No.
While the current effort is addressing an immediate need, this page is designed to serve as a long-term resource for any Tuskegee-initiated member of the Blue & White family who may require support in the future.
Who is managing this effort?
All funds and communications are being managed by:
• Soror Rhonda Butler (ΘΒ Spring 1991, ΞΜΖ Graduate Chapter)
• Brother Ron Johnson (ΒΚ Spring 1991, ΤΘΣ Alumni Chapter)
They are responsible for:
• Donation tracking
• Communication via CodeBlue1881@gmail.com
• Coordination of resources and support
• Auditing, accountability, and periodic updates
This structure ensures continuity, transparency, and responsible stewardship.
How are donations being used?
Donations are directed toward immediate and ongoing needs, including:
• Housing stabilization
• Relocation support
• Essential living expenses
• Access to support services and resources
All funds are managed with care and accountability by the designated coordinators.
How can I help?
You can support this effort by:
• Making a donation
• Sharing the webpage with others
• Encouraging others to give what they can
No amount is too small, and every contribution makes a difference.
How should I share this with others?
To maintain clarity, unity, and discretion:
1. Share the webpage link directly so recipients receive the full message
2. Use the language provided on the page; avoid adding personal details
3. Emphasize the importance of privacy and discretion
4. Encourage immediate giving
5. Communicate that this is a standing resource for future needs within the Tuskegee-initiated Blue & White family
Why is privacy being emphasized?
Protecting the dignity and confidentiality of the individual receiving support is a priority. Limiting personal details ensures that help can be provided without unnecessary exposure or speculation.
Whom can I contact with questions or for donation receipts?
All inquiries, including donation confirmations and receipts, can be directed to:
CodeBlue1881@gmail.com
What is the long-term vision of CODE BLUE?
CODE BLUE is intended to become a sustainable support system—a way for the Tuskegee-initiated Blue & White family to respond quickly, collectively, and responsibly whenever one of our own is in need.
