CODE BLUE: A Call to Protect One of Our Own

Immediate support is needed to stabilize and safely transition a member of our Blue & White family.

We are responding to a critical, time-sensitive situation involving a beloved member of our Blue & White family who is facing significant financial hardship and other challenges affecting their family.

Thanks to the immediate intervention by members of our Blue & White family, we were able to stabilize their situation temporarily. However, this is only the early stage of what will be a longer journey toward recovery and restoration.

What’s Needed Right Now

We are working together—quietly, respectfully, and urgently—to support them:

  • Secure immediate relocation funding to facilitate a safe transition during the month of May

  • Secure stable housing beyond the next 30 days

  • Ensure a smooth, successful transition for their family

  • Connect the family to local support systems and resources

  • Provide time and capacity for the situation to stabilize

Why This Matters

This is not just assistance—it is intervention.

This is about supporting their well-being, maintaining dignity, and ensuring access to the resources they need to move forward.

We are choosing compassion.
We are choosing action.
We are choosing not to look away.

How You Can Help

We are asking our extended Blue & White family, friends, and supporters to give what you can—immediately.

No amount is too small.

Your support will go directly toward:

  • Housing stabilization

  • Relocation expenses

  • Essential living needs

  • Coordinated care and support services

Advocate Team:
With strong support from their Line Sisters and Brothers, this effort is being coordinated by Soror Rhonda Butler (ΘΒ Spring 1991, ΞΜΖ Graduate Chapter) and Brother Ron Johnson (ΒΚ Spring 1991, ΤΘΣ Alumni Chapter), who are leading outreach, resource coordination, and communication.

A Commitment to Care & Accountability

Out of respect for their privacy, we are limiting personal details. However, we are committed to:

  • Providing periodic updates on progress

  • Ensuring funds are used responsibly and directly for their care

  • Maintain their dignity while mobilizing urgent support

This Is a Code Blue Moment

In our organizations, Code Blue means we act—without hesitation.

And right now, action is needed.

If you have ever believed in the power of community…
If you have ever called someone your “Sister” or “Brother”…
If you understand what it means to show up when it matters most…

This is that moment
